The Samsung Bordeaux 850 is the world’s slimmest TV measuring only 6.5 millimetres or 0.26 inch thick which is thinner than any other existing TV set and even said to be slimmer than most mobile handsets, there are today according to Samsung’s statement.
South Korea’s Samsung Electronics revealed their new product yesterday, Monday as the world’s thinnest LCD (liquid crystal display) TV by now. The Samsung Bordeaux 850 adopts an LED (light emitting diode) backlighting system. It will be on display at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11.
