Ex-Pinoy Dream Academy scholar Gianna Marie “Iya” Ginez is now a successful singer in Guam. She was the scholar from PDA season 1 who was then linked as a special someone of fellow scholar Jay-R Siaboc (PDA Season 1 first runner-up) and the “crying lady” of the academy’s first season. She is preparing for her debut album that will first be released in Manila, while at the same time she will also renew her US working visa.
She wishes to go back inside the Academy not become a scholar again but to meet her idol Billy Crawford, who is this season’s dream host. What she has learned in the Academy especially comes from Jim Paredes who was then the headmaster of the academy (counterpart of Ryan Cayabyab) were the words “trusting yourself” and she believes she trusted herself that is why she has achieved success in Guam.
